Couponing
When we were first married, we clipped coupons and saved them in a little partitioned folder. We thought we were saving money, but eventually we found we were buying things we didn't need just because we had a coupon. A few weeks ago, I was in line at the grocery store behind a couple who, upon checking out, produced a binder from which they pulled a stack of coupons. They ended up paying less than $100 for $200 worth of food. I was impressed. So we took a look at this website, and in our first dry run we had $30 of savings on an $80 purchase. Not bad. If we can save $100 or more over the course of the month, it will be worth the hour per week. And it will help us be better stewards of the financial resources God has provided.
